Yes there is. When you are sending your email campaign and are selecting the contact lists that you wish to send to you can simply select multiple lists. Your Email Marketer will only send the email once to each user no matter how many lists they are subscribed to

If we want contacts to have to ‘verify’ their email address before they are set to ‘active’ what do we need to do?

If you want people to confirm their details, edit your subscription form and tick the ‘Require Confirmation’ checkbox. This will make your Email Marketer send them an email with a link in it for them to click and it will make them active in the database once they have clicked that link.

I have made my subscription form only subscribe Text users but they are sent an HTML email. Why is this happening?

The emails sent from the forms are all sent as multi-part meaning that if they are able to view an HTML email then that will be displayed. From here on in your contacts will be saved as text and your Email Marketer will only ever send text emails to those users.
